Awesome Cold Wave Scenes From This Past Weekend
The big Valentines Day weekend cold wave is waning fast today, but we have some cool videos on what effects it all had on different parts of the country. Here's a few videos to demonstrate.
Benjamin Williamson shot this gorgeous video of Arctic sea smoke around the Whaleback Lighthouse near Kittery, Maine.
Here, a huge water main break in Scranton, Pennsylvania coated a neighborhood in ice, as you can see from this Associated Press video:
Andy McDougal filmed these "steam devils" and a skinny water spout on Vermont's Lake Champlain as the bitter Arctic air flowed across the still-unfrozen water Saturday. For the record, I saw another waterspout on the lake off Colchester, Vermont Saturday, but didn't have my camera with me to record it.
