Meanwhile, In Australia, Tornadoes and Wind, Oh My!

This truck was tossed by destructive winds during
a tornadic storm that hit the Sydney, Australia area this week. 
It's summertime in Australia, and the Land Down Under is sometimes prone to severe summer thunderstorms and even tornadoes.

A real doozy hit the Sydney area this week.

The storm brought winds of up to 132 mph to areas around Sydney, particularly the community of Kurnell, where many homes were unroofed, windows shattered and debris scattered far and wide.

There was so much roof damage and so much insulation blown around that people were being warned of asbestos hazards in the most damaged zones.

The Sydney Morning Herald said these were the most destructive winds in recorded history in New South Wales, which includes Sydney.

This video was shot very near what appears to be the tornado in Kurnell. You can see debris flying through the air above, and it's a wonder any of the trees remained standing:
